  • End of September update October 21st Federal Election Our school has been chosen as a polling site for the October 21st Federal Election. As per past practice, our gym has been booked for the entire day and evening. There will be a uniformed security guard from Neptune Security on site from 8am until 4 pm to maintain the separation of students and voters.Martin Street Spirit WearMartin Street Spirit Wear has gone on sale and will be available until October 4th!   • September 2019 Student Canada VotesThis year our students in grades 5-8 will participate in a mock vote to coincide with the federal election. Student Vote Canada 2019 is a parallel election program for students under the voting age coinciding with the 2019 federal election. It provides students with an authentic learning experience where they practice the habits of active and informed citizenship.Fall FairOur annual Fall Fair is this Saturday, September 21 from 11 - 3:00 P.M.   • Upcoming Events Meet the Teacher NightThursday September 26 will be our Meet the Teacher Night. The event runs from 6:30-7:30 P.M.Cross Country and Other Clubs!We have started many extra curricular clubs here at MSPS. These include the Diversity Club, Sewing Club, Grade 7/8 Volleyball, and Cross Country Running.   • Welcome Back! Welcome Back to our Martin Street students and their families!  A special welcome to those new families who have recently moved into the area, as well as the new families in Grade 2 French Immersion, Junior Kindergarten, and our new Communication Class.
