  • From the Principal's desk... Remembrance DayMonday November 11 will be our Remembrance Day Service in the gym, starting at 9:30 A.M. There will be performances by the band and the choir and individual student readings.Book FairThis year our Book Fair will run from November 18 to November 22 in the Library / Learning Commons.   • From the Principal's desk... Staffing UpdateWe are excited to welcome back Ms. Groot-Nibbelink from maternity leave. She will be teaching Core French once again this year. Thank you and best wishes to Mlle. Becker for filling in so admirably this September and October. We wish her the best in her teaching career!Pumpkin PatchThe Pumpkin Patch has been a great tradition here at Martin Street. Students and their families are invited to bring decorated/carved pumpkins in to the school gym between 8:00 and 9:00 am on Thursday, October 31st.   • From the Principal's desk... October 21st Federal Election Our school has been chosen as a polling site for the October 21st Federal Election. As per past practice, our gym has been booked for the entire day and evening.
