October 21st Federal Election 
Our school has been chosen as a polling site for the October 21st Federal Election. As per past practice, our gym has been booked for the entire day and evening. There will be a uniformed security guard from Neptune Security on site from 8am until 4 pm to maintain the separation of students and voters.

Gifted Testing for Grade 4
During the period of October 21-30, all grade 4 students will under go a test for Giftedness, the CCAT - Canadian Cognitive Abilities Test.

Picture Day
This year our school photo day will be on October 22, Re-take day is November 15.

Grade 7 to the Career Centre
Between October 22-24, all grade 7 students will attend the Halton Industry Education Council (Career Centre). This is a great opportunity for out students to discover all the different types of careers they are abe to pursue.

Grade 8 Trip Information Evening
Next Thursday October 24, representatives from Explorica will be at Martin Street at 6:30 to present the details for our grade 8 spring trip to Montreal. All Grade 8 parents are invited to attend.

Grade 7/8 Volleyball
Our grade 7/8 Volleyball teams have begun their regular season. Good luck to our teams!

Remembrance Day
Our Remembrance Day Assembly will be Monday November 11.
