Thank You!
A very special thank you to our School Council Co-Chairs Louise Thewlis and Beth Duraiappah and their team of amazing volunteers for making our second annual Fall Fair such a success! We were extremely pleased with how many of our families attended and there were many smiles to be seen!

Extra Curricular Activities
Cross Country and Senior Volleyball are both under way. We now have a Student Council in place, a Girls Empowerment Club, ECO Team, Junior Librarians and a Diversity Club. More clubs and teams are soon to start up as well. Stay tuned for more information about the new activities that will begin shortly. Please encourage your child to get involved and join a team or club!

Open House - Meet the Teacher Night
Mark your calendars! Our Meet the Teacher Night will take place on Thursday October 11.

Breakfast Club
Our Breakfast Club continues every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Special thank you to Katherine Jensen for leading this initiative, as well as all the parents and staff members who volunteer their time to make this happen!

Empathy Month
This month our character theme will be Empathy. Daily announcements will occur, as well as weekly classroom community circles.

School Council
Our next School Council Meeting will be Monday October 15 at 7:00 P.M. At this meeting we will be electing our new School Council for the 2018-19 school year.

PD Day
There will be a PD Day for staff this Friday October 5. There will be no school for students that day. All staff will be participating in Math professional development.

Parking Lot
Our parking lot is very busy this year. Students who ride the bus are encouraged to do so. Students who are walkers are encouraged to do so. If you drive your children to school please note that you cannot leave your car unattended in the Kiss and Ride area. If your child is not in Kindergarten you need to park on a side street and walk your children to school.
